MARIONI is a family story
The company, now in its third generation, was founded in Florence in 1966 by the visionary Paolo Marioni. The initial artisanal character of the workshop quickly evolved, and since the 1980s, it has adopted its current corporate identity. Starting with ceramic materials, the product lines for interior furnishings gradually expanded, with particular attention to color combinations, finishes, and decorations. Their objects are characterized by creative details and manual craftsmanship.
After Paolo's untimely death in 1992, his son Simone took over the company and led its development and international expansion.
This was the time of the Cultura d’Arredo collection launch, showcasing an extraordinary blend of ceramic and fabric, which anticipated success through precise market positioning: Marioni offers its clients a range of luxurious products inspired by the past, but with a touch of charm, reflecting the uniqueness, authenticity, and originality of “made in Italy”.
The 2000s brought consolidation of distribution worldwide and the beginning of an organizational and managerial evolution that positioned the brand to face new digital challenges, including the creation of its own archive of 3D models ready for AR/VR experiences.
In 2018, Vittoria, the founder’s daughter, joined the company as Head of Communications and Quality, marking further generational evolution. This way, the brand continues to evolve, enriched by fifty years of craftsmanship and management expertise, offering the most refined and demanding clients a fully Italian luxury experience.
