MARIONI is a family story
The company, now in its third generation, was founded in Florence in 1966 from the intuition of its founder Paolo Marioni. The initial artisanal character of the workshop quickly transformed and by the 1980s adopted its current corporate nature. Starting with ceramic materials, the product lines for interior furnishings were gradually developed, paying particular attention to color combinations, finishes, and decorations. After Paolo's untimely death in 1992, his son Simone took the helm of the brand and guided its development and expansion into international markets.
This was the time of the launch of the Cultura d’Arredo collection, which presents an extraordinary combination of ceramics/fabrics and heralds success thanks to precise market positioning: Marioni offers its clients a range of exclusive products that reference the past but with a touch of charm, reflecting the uniqueness, authenticity, and originality of "made in Italy."
