Founded in 2001 by Venetian designer Federico de Majo, Zafferano was established with a passion for glass craftsmanship. The founder has always been involved in the glass industry. Today, he designs products for Zafferano, paying particular attention to research and development of new shapes.
With years of experience working alongside master glassmakers and a passion for glass and design, Federico de Majo has created collections that quickly stand out for their originality and innovative process on an international level.
Poldina is a collection of wireless battery-powered fixtures, including table lamps, floor lamps, a wall lamp with a hook, pendant lights, and wall sconces. The “touch” control on the head allows for turning on/off, dimming, and selecting the color temperature of the light. Suitable for both indoor and outdoor use (excluding finishes in gold, silver, and copper).
The electronic control system monitors remaining autonomy and ensures a steady light stream until the battery is depleted. Charging is optimized and always performed correctly. All models are equipped with a contact charging base.
