Their journey began in 1882 when patriarch Luigi Sartori started selling exquisite rugs in Verona, opening the first shop, and later in 1920, a second in Rovigo, specializing in home furnishings. In the 1950s, when Sartori's innovative rug designs gained popularity in Scandinavian countries, the brand embraced this trend and expanded its design market from Italy to the world. In the 21st century, production and sales expanded so significantly that it became necessary to establish a headquarters in China. A key project was launched in 2008. Through collaboration with Diesel S.p.a., an innovative idea paved the way: repurposing old rugs to create something entirely new and giving them a second life, aligned with a fresh and youthful style. This led to the creation of the Vintage Patchwork Carpet, which tells a story of rebirth: classic or antique rugs are faded, cut, painted, and hand-sewn. This process results in a unique and highly distinctive rug, combining noble materials and perfectly suited to contemporary environments and modern furniture needs.
