Their journey began in 1882 when patriarch Luigi Sartori started selling beautiful rugs in Verona, opening the first shop, and later in 1920, a second in Rovigo, specializing in home furnishings.  In the 1950s, when Sartori’s innovative rug designs gained popularity in Scandinavian countries, the brand capitalized on this trend and expanded its design market from Italy to the world. These elegant rugs gained recognition worldwide, becoming a sought-after item in designer interiors.

In the 21st century, production and sales expanded so much that it became necessary to open a headquarters in China. A very important project was launched in 2008. Building on collaborations with Diesel S.p.a., the innovative idea paved the way: using old rugs to create something entirely new and giving them a second life, aligned with a fresh and youthful style. This gave birth to the Vintage Patchwork Carpet, which tells a story of rebirth: classic or antique rugs are faded, cut, painted, and hand-sewn. This process results in a unique and highly distinctive rug, a noble blend of materials that fits perfectly into contemporary environments and meets the needs of modern furniture.
