These sheep graze at altitudes above 14,000 feet above sea level, and their wool is rich in lanolin. This special feature makes OC rugs more resistant to dirt.
Beautiful shades result from manual processing and dyeing. Inspirations for creating the rugs include Venetian fabrics, Tibetan and Buddhist symbols, art, architecture, and nature. Many patterns are inspired by tropical leaf shapes or the colors of the setting sun over the snowy peaks of the Himalayas.
All rugs of this brand are handmade from silk and Himalayan wool yarns. The dyeing process is entirely natural. Only organic materials such as nuts, roots, or saffron are used, while maintaining the highest quality standards.
