This card depicts the Alphonse Mucha's Study for Documents 12.
Alphonse Mucha was a defining figure of the Art Nouveau era and is celebrated for his charming, highly stylized illustrations. This charming study was created for his book on the style *Documents Décoratifs*, published by Librerie Centrale des Beaux-Arts in Paris in 1901. This portfolio of Mucha's works was published at the height of his popularity and influenced legions of artists and designers striving to imitate “Le Style Mucha”.
