Albino Miranda is a Portuguese manufacturer producing elegant furniture, closely connected to its creator. Since 1989, the owner started with sculptures and later expanded to offer unconventional furniture to the world. Albino designs 2 product lines, which are appropriately named Gansk and Karpa. Of course, many similarities can be found, but their styles differ significantly from each other.
Karpa features fascinating pieces that surpass any design standards, which is why we fell in love with them. They are closely linked to sculpture and the owner's passion. A clear influence of handcrafted work and chisel carving is visible. Elegant styles are complemented by high-quality materials that we can freely choose according to our individual projects. The sculptures, forming a whole with minimalist shapes, make a huge impression. It’s hard not to feel that the designer strongly references surrealism, nature, and the magic of design. The bases of prestigious tables or consoles often express the roots of large trees. This is a very charming mix and clearly has no equivalent among our other niche brands.
Meanwhile, the Gansk line features very modern designs created with a light touch. These are luxurious furniture pieces with simple and fresh shapes. They appear very lightweight and perfectly complement any stylish interior. Simplicity and slender lines provide every design enthusiast with a solid dose of good functional art.
