The first steps of the New York-based brand date back to 2001. It was then that Michael Mandapati decided to establish this exceptional place.
Materials used include, for example, Himalayan wool, mulberry silk, nettle, hemp, and linen. Plants are also used for dyeing, which is very environmentally friendly and will appeal to those who care about ecosystems.
All products are made in Nepal, where highly skilled artisans craft them by hand. Then, the rugs are sent to Switzerland, where they are finished, gaining their distinctive appearance. Thanks to increased lanolin content, they are softer, more stain-resistant, and acquire a unique shine.
