The origins of the New York-based company date back to 2001, when Michael Mandapati decided to establish a luxury rug company.
They are made using Himalayan wool, mulberry silk, as well as nettles, hemp, and linen. For dyeing, mostly plants are used, which will appeal to those who care about an eco-friendly manufacturing process.
Each product is handcrafted in Nepal by highly skilled artisans. Afterwards, the rugs are sent to Switzerland, where they are finished, gaining a unique appearance. Thanks to the increased content of lanolin, they are softer, more stain-resistant, and acquire a distinctive shine.
