The Broadband model is made entirely from wild silk from Dandong, woven at a density of 120 knots, 15 threads per knot. Its name references the pattern – vertical, wide lines running throughout its length.
Fort Street Studio was founded by the husband and wife team Janis Provisor and Brad Davis. They brought their passion for art into interior decoration, as their works have previously been exhibited at the Museum of Modern Art, Whitney Museum, and Albright Knox Gallery.
Thanks to their immense creativity and practical skills, they created a company unlike any other. It is based on original, unique patterns and carefully selected materials. Fort Street Studio – the name comes from the street where they once lived – has been setting trends in interior design for two decades. Their products have been showcased at fairs in Paris, London, and Milan. In 2010, they collaborated with the Hermès department store.
