MARIONI is a family story
The company, now in its third generation, was founded in Florence in 1966 by the founder Paolo Marioni’s intuition. The initial craftsmanship character of the workshop quickly evolved, and since the 1980s, it has adopted its current corporate identity. Starting with ceramic materials, the product lines for interior furnishings gradually expanded, with particular attention to color combinations, finishes, and decorations. Their objects are linked to creative details and manual craftsmanship.
After Paolo’s premature death in 1992, his son Simone took over the company and led its development and expansion into international markets.
During this time, the Cultura d’Arredo collection was launched, showcasing an extraordinary combination of ceramics and textiles, and heralding success through precise market positioning: Marioni offers its clients a range of elegant products that reference the past but with a touch of charm, reflecting the uniqueness, authenticity, and originality of “made in Italy”.
The 2000s brought consolidation of distribution across all countries and the beginning of an organizational and managerial evolution, leading the company to face new digital challenges, including the creation of its own archive of 3D models ready for AR/VR experiences.
In 2018, Vittoria, the founder’s eldest daughter, joined the company as head of communication and quality, marking further generational evolution. Thus, the company moves into the present, enriched with fifty years of experience, where artisanal production and management concepts are offered to the most sophisticated and demanding clients seeking entirely Italian luxury.
