The top can be made of melamine wood, matte or glossy lacquered glass, marble, Fenix ​​NTM®, and veneered wood. Prof Office was founded in 1995 from experience in the furniture industry, a family-run industrial reality that designs elegant office furniture systems deeply rooted in the northeastern Italian furniture district. Over these twenty years, the company's economic development and growth path have allowed it to look at the international market, contributing to the dissemination of Italian design and the highest quality worldwide. By consulting architects and designers, Prof has strengthened its identity and expanded its product range.
Starting with stylish executive collections, it then developed operational systems, reception solutions, and conference rooms, up to partition walls. Today, this allows offering holistic and tailored furnishing solutions for every workplace.

HEADQUARTERS

The headquarters of Prof, along with the plant and offices, is located in Falzè di Piave, in the Treviso province, 70 kilometers north of Venice, in one of Europe's most important furniture industrial districts. It covers a total area of about 8,700 sqm, of which 3,600 are covered. The facility, specialized in manufacturing office furniture, is equipped for work in the wood department, assembly, packaging, warehousing, and shipping of finished products. The main headquarters houses executive, commercial, technical, and administrative offices, conference rooms for client meetings, and an exhibition showroom of over 400 sqm, showcasing all collections of exclusive office furniture. In 2017, an expansion of over 1,800 sqm was completed, with 640 sqm dedicated to production, 330 to new offices, and 830 to a new showroom.

PRODUCTION

The manufacturing plant produces exclusively in Falzè di Piave, Treviso, and always bases its identity on maximum respect for people, the land, and materials. Strong local roots and innate "know-how," which has evolved also thanks to new technologies, have allowed Prof to confirm and solidify its success by continuing to combine tradition and innovation, adapting to new socio-economic changes. Prof's production organization is focused on "just in time," enabling elements such as reliability, inventory reduction, and increased quality and customer service. The entire Prof network operates mainly within Italy, in the local production district where most raw material and semi-finished supplier companies are located. All products are designed and made entirely in Italy to ensure a standard of consistent excellence.

DESIGN

At Prof's factory, every piece of equipment is designed with an understanding of the changing dynamics of the workplace. Research has always been a strategic element of the company's development policy and is expressed through an internal Design Department working closely with external designers. It is continuously updated alongside technological and legislative evolution. Prof models are entirely designed and manufactured in Italy, fully compliant with European safety and health standards. Prof can offer and execute personalized services on standard production models: from manufacturing oversized components, sourcing new materials and finishes, to producing samples and prototypes. Thanks to its versatile manufacturing capabilities, Prof has developed specialized knowledge in non-standard consumable materials, from small and medium projects to excellent personalized creations.

AFTER-SALES SERVICE

Thanks to the UNI EN ISO 9001: 2008 certification system for managing non-compliant products and complaints, Prof maintains constant control over issues encountered during assembly and use. The company provides technical and after-sales assistance services, including full information, modifications, and repairs.

Prof's high production flexibility allows, in addition to series manufacturing, the realization of custom-designed projects tailored to specific client needs. The Design Department can support clients or designers in developing and producing unique products, both functional and aesthetic, with fully customized finishes.
Careful advice at every stage: targeted design, with meticulous material selection and attention to detail, culminating in the construction, step by step, until final installation.

ENVIRONMENT

In response to increasing international market competition through improved customer satisfaction and loyalty, and rationalization of internal production processes, Prof obtained ISO 9001: 2008 certification in 2012. Adopting a quality management system is a strategic decision for Prof, enabling more concrete business goals. In a world constantly seeking quality and increasingly sensitive to environmental issues, Prof focuses on maximum experience in designing and manufacturing office furniture with respect for the environment. From carefully selected raw materials, through the entire processing and packaging process, to disposal, everything aims to protect health and save energy.

As a result, Prof uses certified E1 panels in accordance with European regulations on formaldehyde emissions, both for raw materials and laminates.
Each panel is then marked by the Ecological Panel Consortium, ensuring that semi-finished products are produced through the reuse of wood in the manufacturing process, which does not involve tree felling.

Obtaining the ISO 14001: 2004 certification in 2012 confirms Prof's commitment to establishing its own environmental management system, regulating the impact of its production activities on the environment, and striving for continuous improvement. In 2015, during the company's twentieth anniversary, Prof introduced a new green mark to confirm and identify its commitment to sustainable environmental development as an integral part of its operations and growth process. In 2017, the company reaffirmed its "eco-friendly" strategy, emphasizing its values of "sustainable" and "responsible," and switched to a new energy provider (Dolomiti Energia) that sources 100% from renewable sources.
