The showcased vehicle was delivered to Mrs. Mamie Spears Reynolds in Florida, USA, in February 1963 by Luigi Chinetti. In the same month, together with Pedro Rodriguez, it took first place overall in the 3-hour Daytona Continental race with starting number 18. Other races and achievements included 13th place overall in the 12-hour Sebring race with Joakim Bonnier in March (4th in class), in June '63 2nd place overall at Laguna Seca, on July 6th overall at Pacific Raceway, and also in July, it won its class at the Candlestick Race.
In July 1964, it was sold for $12,166, and since then, it has been seen exclusively at races and historic shows. From 1993, under the same owner, it was restored to perfection and is part of Brandon Wang's collection (USA).
