The showcased vehicle was delivered to Mrs. Mama Spears Reynolds in Florida, USA, in February 1963 by Luigi Chinettie. In the same month, together with Pedro Rodriguez, it took first place overall in the 3-hour Daytona Continental race with starting number 18. Other races and successes included 13th place overall in the 12-hour Sebring race with Joakim Bonnier in March (4th in class), in June '63 finishing 2nd overall at Laguna Seca, on July 6th placing in the overall standings at Pacific Raceway, and also winning its class in the Candlestick Race in July.
In July 1964, it was sold for $12,166, and since then, it has been seen exclusively at racing events and historic shows. From 1993, under the same owner, it was restored to perfection and is part of Brandon Wang's collection (USA).
