This is an artistic project conceived by Giampaolo Barbiní. He brought to it the heritage of one of the most renowned Venetian glassmaking families.
iMuranesi products are unique thanks to the combination of several equally important elements. These include exquisite craftsmanship, modern production techniques, sophisticated and contemporary design, and strong collaboration between top designers and glassmakers.
iMuranesi is a popular international brand that combines contemporary creativity with the traditional values of Murano glassmaking.

Behind this modern model lies centuries of experience. In the past, the Venetian Republic authorities decided to concentrate all glassmakers in one place. To this day, its name is known worldwide, and the products originating from there are breathtaking.

The Barbiní family is one of the respected medieval lineages that has been present on the island of Murano since the second half of the 16th century.
In 1658, by order of the Consiglio dei Dieci council, the Barbiní family was inscribed in the Golden Book of Murano Society’s Notable Figures, a list of the most distinguished glassmakers in Venice.
The family was granted a coat of arms – two bearded wise men looking at each other with a star between them on a blue background – which can still be seen today at the Glass Museum on Murano Island.
