Their journey began in 1882 when patriarch Luigi Sartori started selling beautiful carpets in Verona, opening the first shop, followed by a second in Rovigo in 1920, specializing in home furnishings.  In the 1950s, when the innovative pattern of Sartori carpets gained popularity in Scandinavian countries, the brand capitalized on this trend and expanded its design market from Italy to the world. These exciting carpets gained recognition worldwide, becoming a coveted item in designer interiors.

In the 21st century, production and sales expanded to such an extent that it required opening headquarters in China. An important project was launched in 2008. Since collaborating with Diesel S.p.a., the innovative idea has paved the way: using old carpets to create something entirely new and giving them a second life, in line with a fresh and youthful style. This led to the creation of the Vintage Patchwork Carpet, which tells a story of rebirth: classic or antique carpets are faded, cut, painted, and sewn by hand. This process results in a unique and very special rug, a blend of noble materials that fits perfectly into contemporary environments and meets the needs of modern furniture.
