Description
This contemporary and luxurious table showcases the splendor of the uniqueness of kings and queens. Its timeless originality and imperial design were inspired by the Ajuda Palace in Lisbon.
The Petit Cortez dining table is made of wood and finished with a high gloss in black, surrounded by a subtle line of gold leaf elements. The structure is supported by two shaped geometric legs, making it perfect for modern living rooms and luxury hotels.
The Malabar brand was founded in 2012, alongside the launch of a wide range of decorative Fado guitars and the elegant World Architects furniture collection. It has designed and released a total of 5 exceptional furniture and accessory series.
Malabar has left its mark at major international fairs such as 100% Design London, Maison & Objet, Decorex, Stockholm Furniture Fair, and Seoul International. These are among the top venues for showcasing.
The production of Malabar furniture comes from the Porto area, in northern Portugal, a region with a long and strong tradition of handcrafted products.
The identity of this prestigious brand is based on the architectural and artistic heritage of the past five centuries.
International experience and a pursuit of perfection are the details that define such original companies. Emotions, handcrafted execution, and space-inspired design create an explosive mix of exclusive furniture.
The various techniques used in creating products from natural wood produce incredible effects, as seen in Malabar’s exceptional collections. An important aspect of the design is the combination of neutral and black colors.
Juicy and vivid colors dominate, significantly deviating from classic and stereotypical furniture.
Besides wood, the manufactory uses brass, gold and silver leaf, as well as other high-quality raw materials.
The Portuguese soul is very colorful and fascinating, clearly visible in the bold furniture designs.
The company's name derives from the black pepper Malabar. Along with other spices, it changed the course of trade history with the discovery of the Cape. The value of original spices prompted Portuguese merchants to chart a daring sea route.
This remains true today, as Malabar continues to define highly individual design boundaries and evokes strong emotions with its projects. They are very liberated, seductive, bold, and extremely luxurious.
And these are exactly the products we love and introduce on the My Luxury Products platform.
