Everything started when Bruno Costenaro, born in Bassano in 1940, began to learn the secrets of ceramics. At that time, he was only thirteen and worked in companies in Marostica and Cassola. By the age of twenty, he decided to create exquisite ceramics from Italy, initially with two partners in Vallonara, and later independently in Pianezze.

Over the years, demand for his products grew, and the company moved to Molvena. Initially, a small-scale production took place in the basement of his new residence, which, after many setbacks, led to the construction of a workshop adjacent to his home, where he still works today. This demonstrates that family-run workshops thrive and produce true luxury. The strength of the workshop was extraordinary, thanks to their level of creativity, innovation, interest in export, and the company's ability to overcome crises in this business sector, providing employment to around seventy collaborators over the years, including his children, who continue the business.

On March 26, 2000, Bruno Costenaro received the honorary title of master craftsman of the Vicenza province; as a tribute to his exemplary conduct, he distinguished himself both personally and professionally through dedication to work and generosity in passing on techniques and values to future generations. To this day, the Ceramiche Bruno Costenaro brand has been one of the most prestigious ceramic factories in the area, always looking to the future, conducting research to satisfy its clients, and delivering high-quality artistic products.

What does the process of creating this luxury ceramics look like?

Each piece of ceramic from the mold is then hand-finished. It is glazed using the “a bagno” (dipping) method, according to the colors chosen by the customer (for example: white, black, ruby red, cobalt blue, emerald green), and then fired at a temperature of 1020°C.

At this temperature, the glaze makes each item durable and transparent. Finally, every element is entirely hand-finished by skilled Italian decorators, achieving refined details in gold and platinum. Fired at 600-700°C, the final product is delicate in craftsmanship and meticulously finished in every detail. After polishing, each piece is marked, and a factory quality certificate is placed in a small package. The products are packed into cardboard boxes using a modern packing machine that creates soft cushions to protect delicate items.

This modern packaging method ensures that there are never issues with damaged goods or broken items. All cardboard boxes are then placed on Euro pallets (measuring approximately 80 cm x 120 cm), making the goods safer and eliminating problems with missing items. Upon receipt, the customer can attest to the quality of the product, having purchased an item from Ceramiche Bruno Costenaro.

Today, the company has expanded to include: gifts, complete series consisting of centerpieces, baskets, vases, picture frames, ashtrays, plates, lamps, columns, cachepots, mirrors, panels, candlesticks, clocks, tables, and swans.
