The philosophy of the Berti Knives brand is different. They produce exceptional knives for various uses. Founded in 1895 by David Berti, the family-owned manufactory appears to be completely independent of the trends that have emerged worldwide over the years. Its most important value is a commitment to tradition, which is now cultivated by the fourth generation of these skilled artisans.
The founders firmly oppose the idea of mass production by random labor, which they believe would lead to the loss of identity of the products. For this reason, their company's work philosophy places a special emphasis on the employed staff. However, this does not mean that this Italian family is closed to innovations. They are very welcome, provided they bring elements consistent with the existing vision and can withstand years of quality testing.
Unlike others, the individual stages of knife creation are not handled by specialized sections of artisans, but are often performed from start to finish by the same person. Thanks to this practice, each blade is completely unique.
The production uses the highest quality materials — blades are made of steel, while handles are made from materials such as buffalo horn, bison horn, deer antler, and 'bosso' wood.
