The philosophy of the Berti Knives brand is different from this situation, producing exceptional knives for various purposes. Founded in 1895 by David Berti, the family manufactory appears to be completely autonomous from the trends that have taken place worldwide over the years. Its most important value is attachment to tradition, which is now cultivated by the fourth generation of these excellent artisans.

The founders of the brand strongly oppose the idea of mass production by random labor, which they believe would lead to the loss of identity of the manufactured products. For this reason, their company's work philosophy places a special emphasis on the employed staff. However, this does not mean that this Italian family is closed to any innovations. They are highly desirable, provided they introduce elements consistent with the existing vision and can withstand years of quality testing.

Unlike others, the individual stages of knife creation are not handled by specialized sections of artisans, but are often performed from start to finish by the same person. Thanks to this practice, each blade is completely unique.
High-quality materials are used in production — blades are made of steel, while handles include materials such as buffalo horn, bison horn, deer antler, and 'bosso' wood.

The brand owners encourage that their products, although intended for everyday use, be treated with proper respect, which guarantees their durability for many years. Each one is, after all, a small, unique artifact.
