- The base is made of walnut wood, finished with 12 layers of PU. Two columns, the clock base, and columns are made of zinc alloy. The sand used inside the hourglass is artificial to avoid internal moisture that could disrupt the free flow of sand from top to bottom. The time measured by the hourglass is approximately 6 minutes.
