Each sphere is handcrafted in Germany, and Columbus is the only manufacturer producing hand-blown globes. Collaborations with top cartographers and artisans specializing in wood and glass decoration attest to the company's excellence. In addition to hand-blown spheres, the brand offers elegant vacuum-formed globes, also made in Germany.
Columbus versus other companies?
The meticulous process involves printing and curing over 24 layers of paper until achieving the perfect appearance. Then, strict cleaning procedures and the application of a protective coating on the globe follow. The entire process is closely guarded and inspected post-production by a team of cartographers!
