Founded in 1895 by David Berti, the family workshop seems to be entirely independent of the trends that have dominated the world throughout its history. Its most important value is fidelity to tradition, which is still cultivated by the fourth generation of these master craftsmen.

The founders strongly oppose the idea of mass production by random labor forces, which they believe would lead to a loss of identity in the knives produced. For this reason, their company's work philosophy places a special emphasis on the employed personnel. However, this does not mean that this Italian family is closed to innovations. They are highly desirable, provided they do not conflict with the existing vision and can withstand long-term quality tests.

Unlike others, the various stages of knife creation are not handled by specialized groups of artisans, but are often performed from start to finish by the same person. Thanks to this practice, each blade is completely unique.
The production uses the highest quality materials — blades are made of steel, and handles are made, among others, from buffalo, bison, deer horns, or 'bosso' wood.

The brand owners suggest that, although designed for everyday use, their products should be treated with proper respect, which guarantees their durability for many years. After all, each one is a small, unique artifact.
