MARIONI is a family story
The company, now in its third generation, was founded in Florence in 1966 by the founder Paolo Marioni’s intuition. The initial artisanal character of the workshop quickly evolved, and since the 1980s, it has adopted its current corporate identity. Starting with ceramic materials, the company gradually expanded its interior accessories lines, paying special attention to color combinations, finishes, and decorations. Their objects are linked to creative details and craftsmanship.
After Paolo’s premature death in 1992, his son Simone took over the company and led its development and international expansion. This was the time of the Cultura d’Arredo collection debut, which showcases an extraordinary combination of ceramic and fabric and heralded success through precise market positioning: Marioni offers its clients a range of luxurious products inspired by the past, with a touch of charm, reflecting the uniqueness, authenticity, and originality of “made in Italy”.
The 2000s brought consolidation of distribution worldwide and the beginning of an organizational and managerial evolution that prepared the company to face new digital challenges, including the creation of its own archive of 3D models ready for AR/VR experiences.
In 2018, Vittoria, the founder’s eldest daughter, joined the company as head of communication and quality, marking further generational evolution. This way, the company brings fifty years of experience into the present, where artisanal production and management concepts are offered to the most refined and demanding clients seeking entirely Italian luxury.
