Murano crystal vase blown by hand and finished with various decorative motifs applied hot: murrina, small rods, festoons, spots, streaks, colorful rings and spirals, transparent and opaque. Signed and dated.
Carlo Moretti is a “designer factory” founded in 1958 by Carlo and Giovanni Moretti, combining innovation and continuous research. Unique pieces, numbered and signed in a distinctive style, with a stylistic code that constantly seeks new, pure, and essential lines, supported by technological innovations.
This ongoing search for new languages gives rise to objects that confirm the endless magic of this material through the “know-how” of Murano masters, blending two opposing spirits, constant and fluid. Carlo Moretti is a “factory of originals,” one of the last remaining on Murano. Founded over fifty years ago, on October 30, 1958, by Carlo and Giovanni Moretti—two young brothers from Murano, from a family of glassmakers—it was acquired in 2013 by a Venetian holding company operating in the glass market. The brand’s mission is to develop and strengthen its presence on international markets, while respecting the brand’s identity in a contemporary context through a new strategy that includes continuity and ongoing innovation in management, products, and market approach, along with the implementation of the lighting contract sector.
