Their journey began in 1882 when patriarch Luigi Sartori started selling stylish rugs in Verona, opening the first shop, and later in 1920, a second in Rovigo, specializing in home furnishings.  In the 1950s, when the modern design of Sartori rugs gained popularity in Scandinavian countries, the brand capitalized on this trend and expanded its market design to the whole world. These elegant rugs gained recognition worldwide, becoming a coveted item in designer interiors.

In the 21st century, production and sales expanded to such an extent that it became necessary to open headquarters in China. A very important project was launched in 2008. From collaboration with Diesel S.p.a., a groundbreaking idea paved the way: using old rugs to create something entirely new and giving them a second life, in line with a fresh and youthful style. Thus, the Vintage Patchwork Carpet was born, telling a story of rebirth: classic or antique rugs are faded, cut, painted, and hand-sewn. This process results in a unique and very special rug, a blend of noble materials that fits perfectly into contemporary environments and meets the needs of modern furniture.
