Their journey began in 1882 when patriarch Luigi Sartori started selling stylish rugs in Verona, opening the first shop, and later in 1920, a second in Rovigo, specializing in home furnishings.  In the 1950s, as the modern pattern of Sartori rugs gained popularity in Scandinavian countries, the brand seized this trend and expanded its Italian market designs worldwide. These elegant rugs gained recognition across the globe, becoming a sought-after item in designer interiors.

In the 21st century, production and sales expanded to such an extent that it became necessary to open headquarters in China. A very important project was launched in 2008. From collaboration with Diesel S.p.a., a pioneering idea paved the way: using old rugs to create something entirely new and giving them a second life, in line with a fresh and youthful style. This is how the Vintage Patchwork Carpet was born, telling a story of rebirth: classic or antique rugs are faded, cut, painted, and hand-sewn. This process results in a unique and very special rug, a blend of noble materials that perfectly fits contemporary environments and the needs of modern furniture.
