Their journey began in 1882 when patriarch Luigi Sartori started selling exquisite rugs in Verona, opening the first shop, followed by a second in Rovigo in 1920, specializing in home furnishings.  In the 1950s, when Sartori’s innovative rug designs started gaining popularity in Scandinavian countries, the brand capitalized on this trend and expanded its design market from Italy to the world. In the 21st century, production and sales expanded so significantly that it became necessary to open headquarters in China. A key project was launched in 2008. From collaboration with Diesel S.p.a., an innovative idea took shape: using old rugs to create something entirely new and give them a second life, aligned with a fresh and youthful style. This is how the Vintage Patchwork Carpet was born, telling a story of rebirth: classic or antique rugs are faded, cut, painted, and sewn by hand. This process results in a unique and highly distinctive rug, a blend of noble materials that perfectly suits contemporary environments and modern furniture needs.
