Description

Store your finest wine in this striking cabinet, inspired by the two iconic 100-meter towers of the Oscar Niemeyer National Congress Palace in Brasília. The satin-finished interior reflects the luxury associated with the palace, while the black piano lacquer and impressive black glass feet embody the essence of the city.

The base of the cabinet is made from caviuna veneer with a natural lacquer finish.

Malabar manufactory was established in 2012, alongside the launch of a wide range of decorative Fado guitars and the collection of stylish World Architects furniture. It has designed and released a total of 5 exceptional furniture and accessory collections.

Malabar has made its mark at major international fairs such as 100% Design London, Maison & Objet, Decorex, Stockholm Furniture Fair, and Seoul International. These are among the top venues for showcasing.

Malabar’s design originates from Porto, in northern Portugal, a region with a long-standing tradition of handcrafted products.

The identity of this luxury brand is rooted in the architectural and artistic heritage of the past five centuries.

International experience and a pursuit of perfection are the details that define such original companies. Emotions, handcrafted craftsmanship, and space-age design create an explosive mix of elegant furniture.

The use of various techniques in working with natural wood yields incredible effects, as seen in Malabar’s exceptional collections. An important aspect of the design is the combination of neutral and black colors.

Vivid and bold hues dominate, significantly diverging from classic and stereotypical furniture.

Besides wood, the brand uses brass, gold and silver leaf, as well as other high-quality raw materials.

The Portuguese soul is very colorful and fascinating, clearly reflected in the daring furniture designs.

The company’s name derives from Malabar black pepper. Along with other spices, it changed the course of trade history with the discovery of the Cape. The value of original spices prompted Portuguese merchants to chart a bold sea route.

This remains true today, as Malabar continues to set highly individual boundaries in design and evokes strong emotions with its projects. They are very liberated, seductive, daring, and extremely luxurious.

And these are exactly the products we love and bring to the My Luxury Products platform.

What raw materials does Malabar use?

The brand employs the most luxurious types of wood, including: ebony, walnut, American walnut, oak, ironwood, elm, basswood, olive wood, bird’s eye, irregular grain, poplar, satinwood, and ash.

Malabar also uses ancient lacquer techniques. First, copper, gold, silver, pink, or tiger-colored leaf is applied, then lacquered over.

The types of glass used by the manufacturer include: dark glass, smoked, gold, antique, and antique brown.

The marble varieties are diverse, including: Sahara, grey Kenzo, Nero Marquina, Portoro, Gris Douro, Black Gold, Guatemala Verde, Tiger Skin, Ochiro, Calacatta Vagli, Estremoz, Carrara gold, Carrara, White Extremez, and travertine.

Metals are selected based on efficiency and quality. High-quality premium metals such as copper, stainless steel, and galvanized steel are used. Precise options include chrome, nickel-plated black brass, polished brass, gilded brass, polished copper, antique brass, silver brass, brushed brass, polished brushed brass, brass, and hammered polished copper.

We are happy to arrange a meeting to present all available materials about the Malabar brand. Our Luxury Products team will advise and select the most suitable furnishings and accessories for your interiors.
