Description

Waterlily, a modern pedestal table that stands out with its originality and sobriety. Each surface of the "coasters" is made from ironwood and inlay techniques, resting on a black high-gloss lacquered leg.

This contemporary pedestal table has been designed to complement selected living rooms or lounges seeking inspiration from nature. The Waterlily Pedestal Table is part of the World Architects collection.

Malabar Factory was established in 2012, alongside the launch of a wide range of decorative Fado guitars and the stylish World Architects furniture collection. It has designed and released a total of 5 exceptional furniture and accessory series.

Malabar has left its mark at the most prestigious international fairs, such as 100% Design London, Maison & Objet, Decorex, Stockholm Furniture Fair, and Seoul International. These are among the top venues for showcasing.

Malabar furniture production originates from the Porto area, in northern Portugal, a region with a long and strong tradition of handcrafted products.

The identity of this exceptional brand is rooted in the architectural and artistic heritage of the past five centuries.

International experience and a pursuit of perfection are the details that define such original companies. Emotions, handcrafted execution, and space-inspired design create an explosive mix of exclusive furniture.

The use of various techniques in producing natural wood products results in incredible effects, as seen in Malabar’s exceptional collections. An important aspect of the design is the combination of neutral and black colors.

Juicy and vivid hues dominate, significantly deviating from classic and standard furniture.

Besides wood, the manufacturer uses brass, gold and silver leaf, as well as other high-quality raw materials.

The Portuguese soul is very colorful and fascinating, clearly reflected in bold furniture designs.

The company's name itself derives from Malabar black pepper. Along with other spices, it changed the course of trade history with the discovery of the Cape. The value of original spices prompted Portuguese merchants to chart a daring sea route.

This remains true today, as Malabar continues to set highly individual design boundaries and evokes strong emotions with its projects. They are very liberated, seductive, bold, and extremely luxurious.

And these are exactly the products we love and introduce on the My Luxury Products platform.

What raw materials does Malabar use?

The company employs the most luxurious types of wood, including: ebony, walnut, American walnut, oak, ironwood, elm, basswood, olive wood, bird’s eye, irregular, poplar, satinwood, and ash.
