Their journey began in 1882 when patriarch Luigi Sartori started selling beautiful rugs in Verona, opening the first shop, followed by a second in Rovigo in 1920, specializing in home furnishings.  In the 1950s, when Sartori’s innovative rug designs started gaining popularity in Scandinavian countries, the brand seized this trend and expanded its design market from Italy to the whole world. In the 21st century, production and sales expanded to such an extent that it became necessary to open a headquarters in China. An important project was launched in 2008. Following collaboration with Diesel S.p.a., a modern idea took shape: using old rugs to create something entirely new and giving them a second life, in line with a fresh and youthful style. This gave birth to the Vintage Patchwork Carpet, which tells a story of rebirth: classic or antique rugs are faded, cut, painted, and hand-sewn. This process results in a unique and highly distinctive rug, a blend of noble materials that fits perfectly into contemporary environments and meets the needs of modern furniture.
