The Fort Street Studio brand is associated with the highest quality silk yarns and threads, careful color matching, and a unique approach to dyeing yarns. Each rug from this brand is crafted with meticulous attention to detail and is a testament to artistry, a synergy of artistic mastery and functional aesthetics.
Fort Street Studio was founded by two artists – Janis Provisor and Brada Davis, who transferred their passion for art into interior design. Before jointly dedicating themselves to building the brand from scratch, their works were exhibited at, among others, the Museum of Modern Art, Whitney Museum, and Albright Knox Gallery.
Thanks to their immense creativity and exceptional skills, they created a brand unlike any other – based on unusual, inventive patterns and carefully selected materials. Fort Street Studio – the name derives from the street where the artists' house was located – has been setting new trends in interior design for over two decades. The brand has showcased its products at fairs in Paris, London, and Milan, and in 2010, it established a collaboration with the French department store Hermès.
