The beginnings of the New York brand Warp & Weft date back to 2001. It was then that Michael Mandapati decided to establish this exclusive company.
The production uses, among other things, Himalayan wool, mulberry silk, and nettle, hemp, and linen. For dyeing, plants are mostly used, which will surely appeal to all those who care about ecology.
Each product is made in Nepal, where highly talented workers craft them by hand. The rugs then travel to Switzerland, where they are finished, gaining a unique appearance. Thanks to the increased lanolin content, these rugs are softer, more stain-resistant, and have a beautiful sheen.
