The artist who designed the Horizon model also created five color variants of it. The origins of the New York-based Warp & Weft brand date back to 2001. It was then that Michael Mandapati decided to establish this exclusive company.
Materials used include Himalayan wool, mulberry silk, nettle, hemp, and linen. Most of the dyeing process involves plant-based dyes, which will surely appeal to those who care about ecology.
Each product is handcrafted in Nepal by highly talented artisans. Afterwards, the rugs are shipped to Switzerland, where they are finished, gaining a unique appearance. Thanks to an increased content of lanolin, these rugs are softer, more stain-resistant, and have a beautiful sheen.
