History – in their own words!

As children, they were placed in front of a lathe. Day after day, year after year, this lathe achieved success in the workshop.

These are products that don't chase fleeting fashion, that don't change a hundred times, that last a hundred years. There are also those who buy art pieces worldwide, install them, and sell them as made in Italy. Some pay designers to be trendy. Others change their path with every gust of wind. We are not there. Every day, we wake up and look at its beauty. It is a mirror of the sky. We have ancient roots. We have hills and villages that inspire artists. For centuries.

Behind us, above us, on a granite outcrop, is the sanctuary of Madonna del Sasso. From here, you can enjoy a view of the entire lake, then Mottarone, the Alps, and in front of us, Sacro Monte di San Giulio with 20 chapels decorated with Morazzone frescoes. Directly opposite, in the middle of the lake, is the island with a basilica built in the 4th century, rebuilt in 1000 AD. It is important to surround ourselves with beauty and create beauty while protecting nature. We have always done this.

That’s why we meet many international certifications, including the most stringent in the world: certification for the USA and California, which require completely non-toxic products. The brass we love and use so much contains no lead. Our taps do not release nickel and zinc into the water you drink. Nicolazzi S.p.A. has been operating for over 50 years in the sanitary fittings industry, where it independently and innovatively researches and designs its products in accordance with international standards.
