Each item bearing the “B.C.” label is meticulously produced following all the necessary steps to achieve an ideal product, shaped and finished to high standards. Every element is modeled according to instructions personally dictated by Bruno Costenaro, reflecting his taste and the preferences of his clients, as well as current market trends. After the first model is produced, molds are made for the production of the final products. This marks the beginning of a long-term process in creating this beautiful ceramics.

It all started when Bruno Costenaro, born in Bassano in 1940, began to learn the secrets of ceramics. At the age of thirteen, he worked in companies in Marostica and Cassola. By the age of twenty, he decided to create enchanting ceramics from Italy, initially with two partners in Vallonara, and later independently in Pianezze.

Over the years, demand for his products grew, and the brand moved to Molvena. Initially, small-scale production took place in the basement of his new residence, but after many setbacks, he built a workshop adjacent to his home, where he still works today. This demonstrates that family-run manufactories are thriving and creating true luxury. The strength of the workshop was extraordinary, thanks to their level of creativity, innovation, interest in export, and the company's ability to overcome crises in this business sector, providing employment over the years to about seventy collaborators, whom Costenaro trained in trade—including his children, who continue the business.

On March 26, 2000, Bruno Costenaro received the honorary title of master craftsman of the Vicenza province; in recognition of his exemplary conduct both personally and professionally, distinguished by dedication to work and generosity in passing on techniques and values to future generations. To this day, the Ceramiche Bruno Costenaro manufactory has been one of the most prestigious ceramic factories in the area, always looking ahead, conducting research to satisfy their clients, and delivering high-quality ceramic products.

What does the process of creating this luxury ceramics look like?

Every piece of ceramic from the mold is then hand-finished. It is glazed using the “a bagno” method (dipping), according to the colors chosen by the customer (for example: white, black, ruby red, cobalt blue, emerald green), and then fired at a temperature of 1020°C.

At this temperature, the glaze makes each item resistant and transparent. Finally, each element is entirely hand-finished, utilizing the skills of Italian decorators who achieve refined details in gold and platinum. Fired at a temperature of 600-700°C, the final product is delicate in craftsmanship and meticulously finished in every detail. After polishing, each piece is marked, and a factory quality certificate is placed in a small package. The products are packed in cardboard boxes using a modern packing machine that creates soft cushions wrapping the delicate items.

Thanks to this modern packaging method, there are never issues with damaged goods or broken items. However, all cardboard boxes are contained on Euro pallets (80 cm width x 120 cm depth), ensuring safer transport and preventing missing items. Upon receipt, the customer can attest to the quality of the product, having purchased an item from Ceramiche Bruno Costenaro.

Today, the brand has expanded to include: gifts, complete series consisting of centerpieces, baskets, vases, picture frames, ashtrays, plates, lamps, columns, cachepots, mirrors, panels, candlesticks, clocks, tables, and swans.
