Elegant, three-seater upholstered sofa, with an external part made of matte or polished wood veneer and a brushed metal base. MARIONI is a family story
The company, now in its third generation, was founded in Florence in 1966 by the founder Paolo Marioni’s intuition. The initial artisanal character of the workshop quickly evolved, and since the 1980s, it has adopted its current corporate identity. Starting from ceramic materials, the product lines for interior furnishings gradually expanded, with particular attention to color combinations, finishes, and decorations. Their objects are associated with creative details and craftsmanship.
After Paolo’s premature death in 1992, his son Simone took over the company and led its development and international expansion.
This was the time of the Cultura d’Arredo collection launch, which showcases an extraordinary combination of ceramic/tapestry and signals success through precise market positioning: Marioni offers its clients a range of elegant products that reference the past but with a touch of charm, reflecting the uniqueness, authenticity, and originality of “made in Italy”.
The 2000s brought consolidation of distribution across all countries and the beginning of an organizational and managerial evolution, leading the company to face new digital challenges, including the creation of its own archive of 3D models ready for AR/VR experiences.
In 2018, Vittoria, the founder’s firstborn, joined the company as head of communications and quality to further demonstrate the ongoing generational evolution. In this way, the brand now carries fifty years of experience, combining artisanal production and management concepts, offering the most refined and demanding clients a fully Italian luxury experience.
