The first railway line built in the state of New York was constructed in Albany in the 19th century and is known as the Mohawk & Hudson Railroad, as it connected the Mohawk River with the Hudson River in Albany. To celebrate this great American achievement, Porus Studio decided to honor this historic railway line by creating the Albany table. The navy marble Albany Side Tabletop displays a range of earth tones, such as platinum, nickel, beige, or Albany. Below, the brass structure from modern Albany tables is carefully assembled by hand. These structural elements reflect the richness of natural resources, making them perfect for organic, elegant living rooms or lounges.
