Their journey began in 1882 when patriarch Luigi Sartori started selling beautiful carpets in Verona, opening the first shop, and later in 1920, a second in Rovigo, specializing in home furnishings. In the 1950s, when the modern design of Sartori carpets started gaining popularity in Scandinavian countries, the brand seized this trend and expanded its market design to the whole world. These luxury carpets gained recognition worldwide, becoming a coveted item in designer interiors.

In the 21st century, production and sales expanded so much that it became necessary to open a headquarters in China. A very important project was launched in 2008.From collaboration with Diesel S.p.a., an innovative idea paved the way: using old carpets to create something entirely new and give them a second life, in line with a fresh and youthful style.Thus, the Vintage Patchwork Carpet was born, telling a story of rebirth: classic or antique carpets are faded, cut, painted, and hand-sewn. This results in a unique and very special rug, a blend of noble materials that fits perfectly into contemporary environments and meets the needs of modern furniture.

Absolutely all our carpets are handcrafted entirely using high-quality noble materials and originate from designs developed in Italy, under the creative direction of architect Paolo Sartori.
