Their journey began in 1882 when patriarch Luigi Sartori started selling exquisite rugs in Verona, opening the first shop, followed by a second in Rovigo in 1920, specializing in home furnishings.  In the 1950s, when Sartori's innovative rug designs gained popularity in Scandinavian countries, the brand capitalized on this trend and expanded its design market from Italy to the whole world. In the 21st century, production and sales expanded so much that it required opening headquarters in China. A very important project was launched in 2008. Following collaboration with Diesel S.p.a., an innovative idea paved the way: using old rugs to create something entirely new and give them a second life, in line with a fresh and youthful style. This led to the creation of the Vintage Patchwork Carpet, which tells a story of rebirth: classic or antique rugs are faded, cut, painted, and hand-sewn. This process results in a unique and highly distinctive rug, a blend of noble materials that perfectly suits contemporary environments and modern furniture needs.
