Their journey began in 1882 when patriarch Luigi Sartori started selling beautiful carpets in Verona, opening the first shop, and later in 1920, a second in Rovigo, specializing in home furnishings.  In the 1950s, when the modern design of Sartori carpets started gaining popularity in Scandinavian countries, the brand embraced this trend and expanded its design market from Italy to the whole world. In the 21st century, production and sales expanded to such an extent that it required opening headquarters in China. A very important project was launched in 2008. Since collaborating with Diesel S.p.a., an innovative idea has paved the way: using old carpets to create something entirely new and give them a second life, in line with a fresh and youthful style. This led to the creation of the Vintage Patchwork Carpet, which tells a story of rebirth: classic or antique carpets are faded, cut, painted, and hand-sewn. This process results in a unique and highly distinctive rug, a synthesis of noble materials that perfectly suits contemporary environments and the needs of modern furniture.
