The manufactory primarily focuses on designing and creating umbrellas with an extensive collection of patterns, styles, and handles. These are unique masterpieces of functional art, entirely produced in Italy, in a dedicated sector, and distributed in the finest boutiques worldwide. In the countryside near Mantova, there is still someone who handcrafts luxury umbrellas and exports them to every corner of the globe, using a brand that will soon celebrate its 65th anniversary: Pasotti. This Italian company stands out for its creativity and consistent pursuit of materials, exclusively Italian: including enameled brass handles, Swarovski® crystals, noble silk fabrics, and stunning decorations.

"The brand was founded in 1956," explains the owner, Mrs. Eva Giacomini. "It was established by her mother, Ernesta Pasotti, who began producing unique umbrellas, selling them directly, sometimes riding a bicycle. Later, together with the current owner’s father, Vittorio, who was mainly involved in sales, the company grew from a small artisan workshop into a large enterprise employing over a hundred workers. Today, there is no room for such large-scale industrial production, so the brand has scaled down and now focuses mainly on exclusive limited-edition umbrellas. Annually, it produces 40,000 handcrafted umbrellas: these are products of very high quality, sold in the most prestigious boutiques in 75 countries. 93% of our turnover is generated abroad, mainly in Europe, North America, Russia, and China. Besides the Pasotti collection, the company is proud of a range of private label collaborations with some of the most renowned fashion brands."

The international market is truly growing, thanks to Nicola and Andrea Begotti, the next generation involved in the most important fashion weeks and heavily investing in digital channels, thereby increasing brand recognition.
