How was Porta Romana founded?
The company's origins date back to 1988 and a small London workshop. The ambitions of the artisans producing these items led to the company's growth. The true breakthrough came with the new British craftsmen who inspired the original creators. Over time, ideas multiplied, and Porta Romana became a global manufacturer.
How are Porta Romana product designs developed?
The design studio is led by Shazeen Emambux. Artists discuss their concepts with the craftsmen to create innovative products. Each year, a new collection theme is introduced, each with its own unique character and style. The process of creating these products is very lengthy, starting with 3D graphics that are later transformed into prototypes. All steps are repeated multiple times to ensure the products meet the highest standards.
