Wood, selection

Tiferno specialists carefully and experienceably select only the best wood species, verify the best cuts, and check seasoning before subjecting the wood to processing procedures that bring out its unique qualities.

Wood, stabilization

Like all living materials, wood undergoes changes even after processing: therefore, furniture in its natural state is left for several months until fully stabilized. After stabilization, the furniture is carefully sanded and smoothed by our master craftsmen, preparing it for painting. Following sanding and smoothing, the piece is finished with beeswax, which imparts a completely natural color and softness.
