Description

Trinity Console is a unique design inspired by the renowned architect Norman Foster. Foster is meticulous about the culture and environment of his projects, especially exemplified by the Hearst Tower in Manhattan, which stands out on this sky-filled island.

In the Trinity console, the tabletop is made of wood with piano-black lines. The iron legs resemble Norman Foster’s preference for slanted and geometric lines.

Malabar Manufacturing was established in 2012, alongside the launch of a wide range of decorative Fado guitars and the stylish World Architects furniture collection. It has designed and released a total of 5 exceptional furniture and accessory collections.

Malabar has left its mark at major international fairs such as 100% Design London, Maison & Objet, Decorex, Stockholm Furniture Fair, and Seoul International. These are among the top venues for showcasing design.

Malabar’s design originates from Porto, in northern Portugal, a region with a long and strong tradition of handcrafted products.

The identity of this prestigious brand is based on the architectural and artistic heritage of the past five centuries.

International experience and a pursuit of perfection are the details that define such original companies. Emotions, handcrafted execution, and space-inspired design create an explosive mix of luxurious furniture.

Various techniques in producing products from natural wood yield incredible effects, as seen in Malabar’s exceptional collections. An important aspect of the design is the combination of neutral and black colors.

Vivid and bold hues dominate, significantly deviating from classic and stereotypical furniture.

Besides wood, the manufactory uses brass, gold and silver leaf, as well as other high-quality raw materials.

The Portuguese soul is very colorful and fascinating, clearly reflected in the daring furniture designs.

The company’s name itself derives from Malabar black pepper. Along with other spices, it changed the course of trade history with the discovery of the Cape. The value of original spices prompted Portuguese merchants to chart a bold sea route.

Even today, Malabar sets very individual design boundaries and evokes strong emotions with its projects. They are very liberated, seductive, daring, and extremely luxurious.

And these are the products we love and introduce on the My Luxury Products platform.

What raw materials does Malabar use in its production?

The company employs the most refined types of wood, including: ebony, walnut, American walnut, oak, ironwood, ash, basswood, olive wood, bird’s eye, irregular, poplar, satinwood, and ash.

Malabar also uses ancient lacquer application techniques. First, copper, gold, silver, pink, and tiger-colored leaf is applied, then lacquered.

The types of glass used by the manufacturer include: dark glass, smoked, gold, antique, and antique brown.

The marble varieties are diverse, including: Sahara, grey Kenzo, Nero Marquina, Portoro, Gris Douro, Black Gold, Guatemala Verde, Tiger Skin, Ochre, Calacatta Vagli, Estremoz, Carrara gold, Carrara, White Extremez, and travertine.

Metals are selected based on efficiency and quality. High-quality premium metals such as copper, stainless steel, and galvanized steel are used. Specifically, chrome, nickel-plated black brass, polished brass, gold-plated brass, polished copper, antique brass, silver brass, brushed brass, polished brushed brass, brass, and hammered polished copper.

We are happy to arrange a meeting and present all available materials about the Malabar brand. Our Luxury Products team will advise and select the most suitable furnishings and accessories for your interiors.
