The origins of the New York-based company date back to 2001, when Michael Mandapati decided to establish an exclusive brand.
The rugs are made using, among other materials, Himalayan wool, mulberry silk, nettle, hemp, and linen. For dyeing, natural plant-based dyes are used, which will surely appeal to those who care about the environment.
The products are crafted in Nepal, where highly skilled artisans create them by hand. The rugs are then transported to Switzerland, where they are finished, gaining a unique appearance. Thanks to an increased amount of lanolin, these products are softer, more stain-resistant, and have a beautiful sheen.
The variety of patterns means that Warp & Weft offers a unique piece to suit even the most refined tastes.
