Montegrappa, the first Italian fountain pen manufacturer, pays homage to the thirties by enriching the Extra 1930 collection with a new and exclusive Black&White version. The inspiration for the "Extra" series pens was the model from Montegrappa from the 1930s.
Extra 1930 Black&White is a new color variant of the well-known classic collection. The "Extra 1930" series perfectly combines technological innovation with classic aesthetics and appearance. The gold fountain pen is a synthesis of history and pioneering spirit. What makes this pen exceptional is the celluloid structure. An incredible contrast of colors recreates the original 1930s Extra model, carefully preserved in the Montegrappa museum. This pen is a synthesis of history and pioneering spirit: engraved cap ring, 18-karat gold nib, gold finishes, diamond ring, and a moving silver ball to facilitate attachment. These features characterize the collection. A symbol of this collection is the piston filling system. The cap is topped with the company's logo, which is 1912 in a laurel wreath. The clip and rings are made of 18kt gold. The ring at the base of the cap is decorated with Greek symbols. The pen features an extremely efficient, velvety-writing black ink cartridge. It is housed in a box made of ash wood with an included replica of the original year's ink bottle, with an ebonite closure.
The series was created to satisfy those who love precious objects with classic shapes and original colors and patterns. The pen writes excellently, and the large 18-karat gold nib provides great comfort.
