Desk box is decorated with the famous saying "Carpe diem". This is a quote from Horace. The phrase is found in the Odes (1, 11, 8). "Seize the day, for no one will ever know what the gods have in store for us..."

• Advantages of pewter: Pewter (cynow) is an alloy of three metals: tin (90-98%), antimony (0.5-8%), and copper (0.25-2.5%). This material is extremely durable and hard, yet malleable. Like any metal object, such as household silverware, it requires care to maintain its shiny appearance in perfect condition for many years.
• The wide range of patterns offered by Cosi Tabellini presents three collections named:Thistle, Art Nouveau,and Century.These three collections reflect different approaches to design.
• Thistle - the first line is based on the idea that functional objects must be aesthetically pleasing, but primarily functional, crafted in an elegant, simple style - with symmetrical lines, from solid materials, where each element's final form is carefully thought out.
