The origins of the New York-based company Warp & Weft date back to 2001. It was then that Michael Mandapati decided to establish this unique place.
The products are made using raw materials such as Himalayan wool, mulberry silk, as well as nettle, hemp, or linen. For dyeing - plants, which is an eco-friendly processing method and will surely appeal to all those who care about the ecosystem.
Each product was created in Nepal, where highly skilled weavers craft them by hand. Afterwards, the rugs are shipped to Switzerland, where they are finished, gaining their final appearance. Thanks to an increased content of lanolin, they are softer, more stain-resistant, and acquire a beautiful sheen.
