The Still Water II model features interwoven fields that subtly shimmer thanks to the use of silk yarn.
Although functional items are often pushed to the margins, W&W products are the perfect proof that they can rival the most magnificent symphony. Delicate yet durable, fluffy, glossy, stain-resistant, and unique – these are exactly W&W rugs.
The origins of the New York-based Warp & Weft brand date back to 2001. It was then that Michael Mandapati decided to establish a company specializing in luxury rugs.
They are made using, among other materials, Himalayan wool, mulberry silk, as well as nettles, hemp, and linen. Most dyes are plant-based, which will surely appeal to those who care about ecology. Each product is handcrafted in Nepal by highly skilled weavers. The rugs are then sent to Switzerland for finishing, gaining their final appearance. Thanks to a higher content of lanolin, they are softer, more stain-resistant, and have a distinctive sheen.
