The first steps of the New York-based company Warp & Weft took place in 2001. At that time, Michael Mandapati decided to establish an exclusive brand.
The rugs are made using raw materials such as Himalayan wool, mulberry silk, as well as nettle, hemp, or linen. Plants also play an important role in the dyeing process, which will appeal to all those who care about the environment.
Each product is handcrafted in Nepal by highly skilled weavers. Afterwards, the rugs are transported to Switzerland, where they are finished, gaining a unique appearance. Thanks to the increased content of lanolin, they are softer, more stain-resistant, and acquire a distinctive shine.
The variety of patterns means that Warp & Weft’s offer includes a gem suitable for the most refined tastes.
