The Vitra sas brand was founded in 1994 based on the expertise of master Marco Fasolato, who participated in two Venice Biennale of Art with his Venice Glass. Master Alessandro Padoan developed prestigious fusion glass products using both Murano glass and the highest quality Venetian artistic glass, all handcrafted exclusively in Italy. Precisely in Marcon, Venice.
Their extensive range includes furniture, decorations, jewelry, and artistic stained glass. Products can also be personalized with silkscreen printing or handmade "masks." Stained glass windows are first designed by drawing on cardboard what you want to depict, then the colors to be used are researched, and finally everything is restored to the glass by staining or cutting out segments to create reliefs and give greater beauty and prominence to the design. This work, in particular, is the result of a collaboration between Annarosa Antonello and Alessandro Padoan, performed by Vitra and installed at the entrance of the Aldo Bargero Academy in Oriago.
