MARIONI is a family story
The company, now in its third generation, was founded in Florence in 1966 by the founder Paolo Marioni’s intuition. The initial artisan character of the workshop quickly evolved and since the 1980s has taken on its current corporate identity. Starting with ceramic materials, the interior accessories lines were gradually developed, paying particular attention to color combinations, finishes, and decorations. Their objects are characterized by attention to detail and craftsmanship.
After Paolo’s early death in 1992, his son Simone took over the brand and led its development and expansion into international markets.
It was during this time that the Cultura d’Arredo collection was launched, showcasing an extraordinary combination of ceramic/fabric and heralding success through precise market positioning: Marioni offers its clients a range of exclusive products that reference the past but with a touch of charm, reflecting the uniqueness, authenticity, and originality of “made in Italy”.
The 2000s brought consolidation of distribution across all countries and the beginning of an organizational and managerial evolution that has positioned the brand to face new digital challenges, including the creation of a proprietary archive of 3D models ready for AR/VR experiences.
In 2018, Vittoria, the eldest daughter, joined the company as head of communications and quality, marking further generational evolution. This way, the company continues with fifty years of experience, where artisan production and management concepts are offered to the most refined and demanding clients seeking pure Italian luxury.
