MARIONI is a family story

The company, now in its third generation, was founded in Florence in 1966 on the intuition of founder Paolo Marioni. The initial artisanal character of the workshop quickly evolved and since the 1980s has adopted its current corporate identity. Starting with ceramic materials, the range of interior accessories was gradually expanded, paying particular attention to color combinations, finishes, and decorations. Their objects are characterized by attention to detail and craftsmanship.

After Paolo’s premature death in 1992, his son Simone took over the brand and led its development and international expansion.
This was the time of the Cultura d’Arredo collection debut, which showcases an extraordinary combination of ceramic/fabric and heralds success through precise market positioning: Marioni offers its clients a range of exclusive products that reference the past but with a touch of charm, reflecting the uniqueness, authenticity, and originality of “made in Italy”.

The 2000s brought consolidation of distribution across all countries and the beginning of an organizational and managerial evolution that led the brand to face new digital challenges, including the creation of a proprietary archive of 3D models ready for AR/VR experiences.

In 2018, Vittoria, the founder’s daughter, joined the company as Head of Communications and Quality, to mark further generational evolution. This way, the company continues into the present with fifty years of experience, where artisanal production and management concepts are offered to the most refined and demanding clients seeking completely Italian luxury.
